If you are interested in discovering the world through an international internship, building up a network of professional contacts, and improving yourself while having fun, the France-based Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (International Association of Students in the Economic and Commercial Sciences, or AIESEC) is the place for you.

According to the English language website, AISEC operates in over 107 countries and territories and has over 50,000 members internationally. AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organization. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today.

Let's start with a simple question. How do you benefit from these opportunities? What does it mean to be a global citizen? AISEC provides two choices for you: working with a team to organize international or national activities or helping you to go abroad for your internship at well-known companies around the world. Some examples of the partner companies are Alcatel-Lucent, Unilever, Cadbury Schweppes, DPWN/DHL, Electrolux, InBev, Ingersoll, Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers, UBS, and others. Besides, AIESEC has branches more than in 100 countries, so you will have lots of opportunities to choose the location of your internship. If you want, you can go almost anywhere: Russia, the U.S., Italy, Canada, China, Poland, Holland, etc.

AIESEC aims to find the leaders of tomorrow and develop them. If you want to join this team or go abroad for your internship, the meeting of AIESEC-Ankara team will be on October 16 at 1:00 p.m. You can also get information from www.aiesec.org or www.aiesec.org.tr.
