In this week, we'll solve all of your mailing problems. All websites of this week will be about e-mail.

spambox.us or guerrillamail.com
Many websites ask for your e-mail address to download software or to register, and they can resell your e-mail address to spammers. By getting a temporary e-mail address with a specific expiry date, you could solve the problem of unsolicited bulk e-mails sent by spammers. The first website of this week will allow you to create adisposable e-mail address that will forward all incoming mail to your usual e-mail address. It will also allow you to send and receive anonymous emails.

Note: These sites take issues of abuse or illegal activity very seriously. They keep the right to pass your details (including your IP address) onto the relevant authorities. Don't break the law.

timecave.com or callthefuture.org
I think most of you have heard about email reminder services. Imagine if your reminder service would remind you of something important even years later. This website connects your usual reminder service with e-mail service. Create a profile, drop your address into it and tell it when to come out. It has also an iPhone application. Freeware.

everyone.net
If you want to have your own name as your email address, this tool is absolutely the best one and comes at a very reasonable price (less than buying a domain). For instance, you could get an e-mail like yourname@yourname.com. Even major web providers don't give your that option.

mailfreezr.com
Do you want back-to-the-future
e-mail? This website claims that they are a freezer for email messages for a period of between 1 and 100 years. After filling in required information such as your e-mail and the recipient's e-mail, you can arrange to have an email sent on a date up to 100 years later. Someone you know will get a blast from the past.

Note: If you have any website(s) offerings which you wish to share with Bilkent News readers, don’t hesitate to mail it to me with or without your own description.
