IEEE Graduate Research Conference 2012

This year, the IEEE Graduate Research Conference (GRC) will be held for the 23rd time by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Bilkent IEEE Student Branch. The conference, at which graduate students of Bilkent's EEE Department will present their research, is scheduled to take place on March 2 in the conference rooms on the ground floor of the EE building.

There are 60 oral presentations planned to run in four parallel sessions. The speakers will present their projects and share interesting research outcomes, after which they will answer questions. A total of 12 sessions will cover various areas of electrical and electronics engineering including signal processing, communications, electromagnetics, biomedical engineering, electronics, photonics, control, robotics, networks and nanotechnology. In addition to oral presentations, there will be two poster sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The audience will have the opportunity to learn more about the details of the research that has been conducted by interacting face-to-face with the researchers.

At the end of the day, the Bilkent IEEE Student Branch will give awards to the three best presenters.

The event will be not only a day in which knowledge is shared, but also an exciting activity in which each and every participant -- including speakers and guest speakers from other universities, professional engineers from Turkey's best-known companies and undergraduate students -- makes a journey to a world of engineering and science. The Bilkent IEEE Student Branch and the Bilkent EEE Department welcome all who are interested to this festival of engineering!
