MEC Career Trip'12
Management and Economics Club (MEC) conducted its first "Career Trip" last week, a two-day visit to İstanbul that took place November 23-24. The trip included company visits, a gala dinner and a museum tour.
On Thursday night, 72 students left Ankara. Arriving in İstanbul on Friday morning, they spent the day visiting a number of companies: Koç, Sanofi Aventis, Ernst & Young, Efes Türkiye, Sahibinden.com and Markofoni.
Following this, the group checked in at the Hilton ParkSA Hotel, where a "Human Resources Gala Dinner" was held in the evening. Thanks to representatives from firms such as Unilever, Youth Republic, Efes Türkiye, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Phillip Morris and Boyner, the students had the opportunity to learn more about companies where they may wish to work in the future.
MEC's Career Trip '12 concluded on Saturday with a visit to the Sabancı Museum in Emirgan, conducted by Emin Çapa, director of economics at CNN Türk.
