Orienteering Society Conducts Training Course
The Orienteering Society (BOT) invites you to its first activity of this semester: an on-campus training course.
After a brief introduction to map reading, participants will run a short course on campus to test their newly acquired navigational skills. Newcomers will be accompanied by more experienced orienteers, so there's no need to be afraid of getting lost (in the vast expanses of Main Campus).
The introduction to map reading will be held at 12 noon, in front of the Main Campus Sports Hall. Participants will start out on the course at 12:30 p.m.
All you need are an outfit that will keep you warm and a pair of sports shoes. Even if you missed our first meeting and have never done orienteering before, this training course is a great opportunity for you to give it a try. All Bilkenters are invited to the event.
