Kariyer Forum '13 Gives Students a Glimpse Into the Future
Kariyer Forum '13, organized by the Bilkent University IEEE Student Branch, was held at Bilkent February 19-22. The main purpose of the event, which attracted a large attendance over the four days it took place, was to inform students about internships and career opportunities at larger companies. During the forum, human resource directors from a number of firms, including T.A.I., Peak Games, Turkcell, Roketsan, Microsoft, Koç Holding, KPMG and IBM, visited campus to speak to and meet with students. The speakers offered information and insights on topics such as the career process, the working environment in large companies, internship applications and recruitment policies. The many Bilkenters who attended Kariyer Forum '13 were able to get a better idea of what their futures may look like by talking directly to representatives from a variety of large companies.
