"Court of Bilkent" Simulation

The Court of Bilkent is a simulation of the International Court of Justice, in which Bilkent law students take the roles of judges, lawyers and other participants. The court was started last year, with the first case being the border problem between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This year, the court will judge the oil platforms case between Iran and the United States. Those who took part in the Court of Bilkent last year stated that it was a great experience to deal with a real case and demonstrate their skills in arguing and adjudicating. The event is open to all students and will be held on Saturday, February 23, at G-140, 10 a.m. Participants receive a certificate, which can be added to their CVs, and students taking GE250/251 will receive 50 points.
