Sixth MAD Award Winners Announced
The winners of the MAD Awards for the best commercials of 2012 were announced at a ceremony held in Mithat Çoruh Auditorium on the evening of April 19. The awards are presented annually on the basis of an online survey in which Bilkenters cast their votes for the best ads of the previous year. The survey has been conducted by the Marketing and Advertising Club (MAD) for the past six years.
This year's ceremony was attended by representatives of
the winning brands and ad agencies as well as actor Ümit Erdim and singer Koray Candemir (former lead vocalist of the band Kargo), who received awards for their roles in winning commercials. For the event, the BKM Mutfak crew produced and sent a special video to convey their thanks for being selected the winner of the "Best Telecommunications Commercial" award. The program also included the screening of some amusing videos prepared by MAD members.
