"Computational Thinking" Wins
Büşra Zorba, an alumna of the Department of Computer and Instructional Technology Teacher Education and a computer teacher at the Şişli Terakki Foundation School, has been awarded first place in the "International - Teacher" category in the 2013 Digital Storytelling Contest (DISTCO). DISTCO 2013 was hosted by North American College (NAC) and sponsored by the University of Houston and the University of Texas at San Antonio (Academy of Teacher Excellence). The DISTCO series of competitions allows participants to demonstrate skills and creativity in multimedia, technology, researching and writing. The contest is open to all K-12 students and teachers at both the national and international levels.
