Tourism Graduates Receive Awards at 20th Annual Ceremony

The 20th annual award ceremony of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management of the School of Applied Technology and Management and the Department of Hospitality Services of the Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Services took place on April 30. The event, honoring this year's graduates, was attended by university and school administrators, department instructors and representatives of the tourism industry in Ankara.

Prior to the ceremony, department administrators and instructors met with award sponsors at a luncheon at Le Piment Rouge Restaurant, prepared and served by the students of both departments under the supervision of instructors Elif Denizci and Ali Ünal.

Following this, the scene shifted to the Bilkent Hotel and Conference Center for the award ceremony. Seventeen students received awards, which were sponsored by partners from the tourism industry. As a finale to the day's events, a graduation lottery was held, and the graduation cake appeared on stage, after which it was cut and enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
