Psychology Department's Annual Senior Student Research Day

On Friday, May 10, the Department of Psychology held its fourth annual senior research project presentation and poster session. Ten projects were presented by students in an oral presentation session during the morning, and 30 were presented as posters in an afternoon session.

The projects are the culmination of an academic-year-long process, which serves as a capstone course bringing together students' research skills and their interests in a particular aspect of psychology. Topics covered a wide spectrum of areas, including research related to the visual cortex, behavioral genetics, aging, working memory, language development, autism, supervisor-subordinate relationships, music therapy, consumer behavior, and stereotypes and prejudice concerning people with schizophrenia and physical disabilities.
