Huge Success for Prep Student in Track & Field
A major interuniversity track and field meet was held May 8-10 at Çukurova University in Adana. The results determined the national standings of the competitors and places on Turkey's track and field team.
Doruk Uğurer, a preparatory-year MATH student, participated in the meet. In a competition that included many national team track and field athletes from a number of universities in Turkey, Doruk came through extremely well and secured a place on Turkey's national team. His events, times and standings are noted below.
