2012-2013 Career Activities Continue with Sector Introduction Days
Sector Introduction Days will begin November 5 and run through November 30. It's never too early to make contacts in the sector where you see yourself working after graduation. If you attend Sector Introduction Days, you will be able to meet representatives from various employment sectors in Turkey. Especially if you don't have a good picture of where you will end up career-wise, this is a great opportunity to see what kind of job you might want to do. It's a good idea to attend as many meetings as you can, since the differing aspects of the various sectors can be key elements affecting your career choice.
Bilkent offers an incentive for students to go to as many sessions as possible: those who have attended 10 meetings will receive a "Sector Introduction Days Participation Certificate." To receive credit for attending a session, you must arrive on time and stay for the entire session. These introductory seminars will also be credited for GE250 (10 points per meeting). Don't forget to register yourself for GE250.
