oBilet Makes Finding a Bus Ticket Easier

This website combines information from leading bus companies, such as Kamil Koç, Pamukkale, Ulusoy and Varan, in one place for easy comparison. When a user enters the point of departure, destination and date/s of travel, the system shows all of the bus firms that have service on that route, enabling passengers to find the most affordable ticket at a convenient time.
oBilet was founded by Ali Yılmaz and Yiğit Gürocak, students of the Department of Industrial Engineering. Ali has just graduated from the department, while Yiğit is currently a junior-year student. They have both served as vice president of the Operational Research Club.
They founded their company, oBilet Bilişim Sistemleri, last year under the mentorship of IE Chair Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, at Bilkent Cyberpark. Yiğit, describing their vision, says, "We dream of being the Yemeksepeti of the bus ticket sector in the future."
