Interval Training Program
The Physical Education and Sports Center held its most recent interval training program at the Student Dormitories Sports Hall on Thursday, October 18. A group of 130 highly motivated students and personnel participated in the session and enjoyed exercising to music for an hour and a half.
Four activity stations were provided: one for abdominal work, the second for step exercise, the third for working out with small dumbbells, and the fourth for aerobics.
Participants spent three minutes at each station and repeated the full workout three times, so that they completed three sets. Between the sets, a high-energy Tae Bo session featured movement accompanied by music.
Following the Tae Bo session, the program provided an introductory "Zumba Fitness" session.
