Bilkent University Outdoor Sports Society
Bilkent University Outdoor Sports Society (DOST) is one of the oldest student clubs in Bilkent. It has been helping its members to cherish nature, sport, and life in many different ways since it was established in 1989.
Those who want to join DOST gain access to a perfect getaway route from the routine of school life, exams, and homework. It is impossible not to mention that two of the Turkey's most prestigious sportsmen and the pioneers of Turkish mountaineering, Tunç Fındık (ELIT '93) and Nasuh Mahruki (MAN '92) were members of DOST.
DOST is not only organizing camping, mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing, orienteering, and mountain biking activities but it also trains its members in these outdoor sports. DOST is also providing its members to experience such wonders as a starlit sky out in nature.
Those who are interested in outdoor sports activities can meet every Tuesday at 3:40 p.m. in G236.

Bilkent Chemistry Society
The club, which had started in 2005 under the Department of Chemistry, was officially founded in 2006 under the name Bilkent Chemistry Society. Finally, its name changed to Bilkent Chemistry Club (BilChem) in 2010.
BilChem is not only interested in the students of Department of Chemistry but also wants to reach out to all Bilkent students who are keen on chemistry.
The club cooperates other universities' chemistry clubs and societies projects. If you are really interested in chemistry and its processes, such as compounds, elements, periodic table, clay-organic reactions, etc., you are more than welcome to join BilChem.
