OBI Spring Symposium a Success
İhsan Doğramacı Foundation Bilkent Primary School held its fifth annual Spring Symposium on Effective Teaching Practices on March 26th. It hosted more than 550 educators from 15 cities. The participants attended three plenary sessions in addition to a selected workshop session given by Bilkent teachers. MP Muharrem İnce, Prof. Dr. Haluk Şahin and Prof. Dr. Betül Ulukol were the keynote speakers and delivered speeches about management of education in Turkey, the effects of social media on education, and child abuse in Turkey, respectively. Aside from the academic sessions, the participants had the opportunity to attend the outstanding piano and folk dance performances of Bilkent primary students.
