Hittites to Invade Bilkent
Bilkent University will experience a unique taste of Hittite culture and cuisine from Tuesday through Thursday, April 26 to 28. The event, jointly organized by the Governorship of Çorum, the Bilkent Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, and the Department of Archaeology, will celebrate the marvels of Hittite music, dance, and politics through art exhibits, samples of genuine Hittite food and drinks, Çorum handcrafts, and lectures delivered by esteemed experts in Hittite archaeology and philology. Profs. Tayfun Yıldırım and Aygül Süel (Ankara University) and Dr. Selim F. Adalı, member of the Bilkent Department of Archaeology, will all give presentations. All speeches and lectures will be delivered in Turkish.
