Bilkent TRIN Students Working for the EU
Two graduates of the Bilkent University School of Applied Languages have been designated as accredited interpreters for EU institutions. Aksel Vannus, a 2008 graduate of the Translation and Interpretation (TRIN) program, and Eray Karakuzu, a 2010 graduate of TRIN's Conference Interpretation track, achieved this status after undergoing a thorough examination procedure in English, French and Turkish under the auspices of the European Commission and Parliament in Brussels in November 2011.
