Siyaset Platformu Club Joins with Romanian Students in "Democracy on Campus" Project
The Siyaset Platformu Club has qualified to conduct a joint project with the University of Bucharest as part of the European Commission's "Youth in Action" program. Titled "Democracy on Campus," the project is being carried out under the auspices of the Ministry for EU Affairs and the Center for EU Education and Youth programs (serving as the national agency in Turkey for implementation of the Youth in Action program). Students involved in the project will discuss the topic of "Democracy on Campus" and participate in a number of activities, including roundtable meetings, workshops and visits.
In the first stage of the project, 18 students from various departments within Bilkent University are visiting the University of Bucharest in Romania this week, February 19-26. For the project's second stage, students from the partner university will visit Bilkent March 12-17.
