Engineering Students Give New Study Tables a Thumbs-Up

New study tables have been placed near the entrance of the Engineering Building for those who would like to study in groups. The large tables, which accommodate several persons each, allow students to exchange ideas and help each other as they study, rather than working alone in silence. They are also free to have snacks and beverages. The tables, equipped with plugs for laptops, are available 24/7 in an area with wireless access. Study tables are also located in the FEASS building and will be placed in other buildings soon.

The tables are already getting some positive feedback. Third-year mechanical engineering student İdil Gün commented, "Study tables are a desirable addition to the Engineering Building. We're able to study in a comfortable environment where we can talk." Çağın Kırca (ME/III) added, "It's good to see something useful filling up those empty spaces in the Engineering Building."
