Communication and Design Department Chair Joins CILECT

chairThe Communication and Design Department Chair, Andreas Treske, has been granted membership into The International Association of Film and Television Schools (CILECT). This is the first step in the process towards the entire department gaining full member status.

CILECT includes representation from the world's major film and television schools. The advantages of being part of the organization is the ability to exchange ideas with other affiliated schools, and gain information on developments in education that can be applied to helping students who wish to work in film, television, and related media.

The association works to foster the creation, development and maintenance of regional and international co-operation, and encourages training in the areas of film and television throughout the developing world.
