New Accommodation Options for Students and Guests

A considerable part of Bilkent's beauty originates from its relative isolation. The campus is often blissfully calm, it is comparatively pollution free, and it has its own kind of charm with its well-tended gardens and buildings, not to mention its adorable feline and avian inhabitants.
But this isolation can sometimes be a setback, and rather a frustrating one at that.
Maybe you are a student living downtown. You have an important exam or deadline coming up, and you must stay on campus until very late to study. But all that you can think about is how will I get back home? Many students do not drive, and when it's very late hardly any vehicles pass through the streets of Bilkent, let alone a bus or a dolmuş.
Maybe you do have a car, but the weather suddenly turned and you are now stuck on campus in a blizzard. There is definitely no possible way of getting back to the city driving your own car when even busses cannot operate. What can you do? Where will you stay?
Or maybe you do live on campus, thinking yourself to be impervious to such troubles. Imagine, then, a close friend of yours is coming to visit; or suppose that family members decided it would nice if they surprised you before the start of the finals and arrived without telling. What can you do? Where will they stay?
Bilkent Dormitory Administration now offers daily accommodation options for students, students' relatives and friends between ages 18 and 25 for affordable prices to avoid the situations mentioned above. Various accommodation options are provided to suit diverse needs.
Dormitories Administration Director Zeki Samatyalı explains that Bilkent's aim in implementing such daily accommodation options was to make campus life easier and more productive for students and their possible guests. Samatyalı adds: "We now offer daily single and double room occupancy, suite rooms and larger rooms with bathrooms and toilets suited especially for families."
Prices for single and double rooms for the first night are 15 and 10 TL, the following two nights are 30 and 20 TL, and the price for the fourth and nights after are 55 and 45 TL respectively. Daily accommodation for families ranges between 55 to 75 TL.
