Design Conference Opens Doors for Artists
"Tasarım Bilkent 2011," organized by Tasarım ve Mimarlık Topluluğu, was held last week and was a great success. The aim of this organization was to gather together everyone who is interested in design and help them meet professionals in the field of architecture, urban design, graphic design, and the visual arts.
The design week began on March 28 and ended April 1. This occasion marks the first time that this kind of conference on design was held at Bilkent University.
Workshops, exhibitions, conferences and movie screenings were held during the week, which provided many opportunities to future designers to show their work and share their ideas with sector professionals.
