IEEE Student Branch Visits Counterpart in Cyprus
Bilkent IEEE Student Branch visited its partner branch at Eastern Mediterranean University. This visit was within the context of the IEEE Turkey Partner Branches Project, which aims to increase the sharing of knowledge and experience among IEEE Turkey Student Branches. This four-day visit included experience sharing between partner student branches, a trip to historical Cyprus, and series of enterprise days. Visitors from Bilkent IEEE expressed their gratitude to their hosts for the wonderful hospitality.
While at Eastern Mediterranean University, the student branch of Bilkent IEEE made new friends via IEEE network and also visited Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Öztoprak, Hasan Amca, the dean of the Engineering Department, and Aykut Hocanın, chair of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, all of whom have given support to the project.
