New Library Opens on East Campus

This week our new East Campus Library opens its doors to readers. Located in the basement floor of the N-Building (BUSEL), this new branch library will house a collection focused especially on the needs of the departments and units based on East Campus, including over 13,000 books and about 100 journal titles. The library has seating space for a total of 84 users, plus a group study room for up to 6 people, and 3 catalog computers with Internet access. The new library will be open 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. In addition to circulation and reading space, there will also be a librarian on hand 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays to provide reference guidance for users. Please remember that no food and drink, except water, may be consumed in the library, but there is a café just around the corner. We hope this new library will be a pleasant and productive place for students to work and welcome any feedback from all users.
