IEEE Student Branch Meeting Attracts 350
On September 21, Bilkent IEEE organized its first meeting to welcome newcomers, review projects, and form subcommittees to tackle this year's plans. This meeting was more unusual because it attracted 350 attendees. Because of the size of the crowd, IEEE set up a teleconference to a second site. After the meeting, they held a dinner at Speed Cafe. Bilkent IEEE also organized a bowling tournament for new members in RollHouse, where new members had the chance to ask questions about the student branch and to meet new people. Bilkent IEEE will organize subcommittee meetings in two weeks.
