“Creativity is required for expressing; art is required for creativity," saidMr. Atilla Güllü, who is the coordinator of Bilkent Library Art Gallery. "There are many times that we need to make decisions in our lives. To make the best decision, we should put much more importance on art. We can bring our creativity out only with it.”
Bilkent Library Art Gallery opened its new season on Wednesday, October 13 with an exhibition of new works by outstanding Turkish painter Prof. Sema Ilgaz Temel,         who is an instructor in Faculty of Art of Marmara University and also in Yeditepe University. In her 30 years of art, she made lots of things fit into her career. She was the department chairman in the Faculty of Art of Marmara University from 2000 to 2003 and from 2006 to 2009. She is also the founder member of International Fine Arts and Istanbul Exlibris Academy Association.
Prof. Sema Ilgaz Temel is planning two more exhibitions this year. For her painting is more like an adventure full of surprises. There are 27 paintings, half of acrylic and half of found materials, in her exhibition. In "Love, Life, Death." Prof. Temel expresses life by using women's themes. "Love, Life, Death" is her 12th one-person exhibition and her 4th exhibition in Ankara.

Expressing ideas requires a good education. At the same time, well-educated people ought to consolidate their knowledge with art. Art makes people widen their horizons. Mr. Güllü invites people to come to see exhibitions in the art gallery, "There will be different exhibitions at least once a month." The more participation in exhibitions, the more people can create empathy in campus. Mr. Güllü invites students to visit the exhibition, which will hand until Wednesday, November 3 and is open between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. except Sundays.
