The Dormitories Resident Assistants are continuing their efforts to make dormitory life more sociable and fun. The latest event organized by the RAs was a "Hot Dog Party" on Sunday, March 18. Like the recent Home Away from Home Party, the Hot Dog Party, held at the Dorm 76 parking lot, was greatly enjoyed by the many students who attended.

The RAs are also organizing activities that take place on an ongoing basis. Tabu Game Evenings and Friday Cinema Nights are held every two weeks on alternate Fridays, in collaboration with the Cinema Club and in connection with GE-250. Plus, there is the Dorms Backgammon Tournament, which started on March 19 and will continue into April, and courses in painting and ebru (paper marbling). The ebru course, which started in February, gives students the opportunity to learn this traditional art while offering a total change of pace from their academic studies.

All of these activities not only add to the enjoyment of dorm life, but also help to promote communication among residents and with the Dormitories Management. From parties, films and games to creative arts, it's all there for dorm residents who would like to spend some of their leisure time socializing with their campus neighbors.
