Academic Career Club Meets with Rector Abdullah Atalar
The Academic Career Club, one of the newest student organizations at Bilkent, has held its first activity, a breakfast with Rector Prof. Abdullah Atalar. Since the purpose of the club is to bring together students who are considering academic careers, the meeting with Rector Atalar was an excellent opportunity for members to ask questions about possible careers in academia and also about Bilkent University.
In the months ahead, faculty members from Bilkent and other universities will also speak at club events. The Academic Career Club will soon hold its first meeting of the semester -- new members are welcome. At the meeting, an overview of this semester's events and projects, which should be of interest to all Bilkent students (including those at BUSEL), will be given.
