"Masculinity Is an Exceptional Condition" Photography Exhibition Opens at Library Art Gallery

Last week, on International Women's Day, March 8, a new exhibition of photographs titled "Masculinity Is an Exceptional Condition" (Erkeklik İstisnai Bir Durumdur) opened at the Library Art Gallery.
Organized by T-Peer Turkey, TOG (Toplum Gönüllüleri) and TURKMSIC (Turkish Medical Students' International Committee), the exhibition will be hosted by Bilkent University and ICC (International Children's Center) at Bilkent until March 13.
The exhibition has been displayed in 36 cities in Turkey and Romania during the past year. "Masculinity Is an Exceptional Condition" aims to raise consciousness about gender roles and the very concept of gender, achieve equality between genders, prevent discrimination, promote gender mainstreaming, raise respect for women's individual rights and freedoms and draw attention to the unequal roles of women and men in daily life.
