IEEE Graduate Research Conference 2013

The 24th IEEE Graduate Research Conference, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Bilkent IEEE Student Branch, will take place on March 15. The event will be held in the lecture halls on the ground floor of the EE building. During this day-long activity, Bilkent EEE students will present their research work in oral and poster presentations.

The schedule includes 51 oral presentations, to be run in three parallel sessions throughout the day. Graduate students will summarize their research projects and share interesting results, with each presentation followed by questions and answers. A total of nine sessions will cover various areas of electrical and electronics engineering, including signal processing, communications, electromagnetics, biomedical engineering, electronics, photonics, control, robotics, networks and nanotechnology. In addition to the oral presentations, there will be two poster sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with more than 40 presentations. During these sessions, the audience will have a chance to learn about the research being conducted at Bilkent by interacting face-to-face with the researchers.

At the end of the day, the best presenters will be recognized by the Bilkent IEEE Student Branch, and awards will be given.
