"Çizikler - Incisioni" by Fatih Mika Opens in the Library Art Gallery

On October 11, the reception for the opening of a new exhibition was hosted in the Bilkent University Library Art Gallery. The paintings and engravings by Fatih Mika are being exhibited October 11 through November 7. The exhibition will be open to visitors every day except Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fatih Mika, born in 1956 in Istanbul, is a pioneer in the field of gravure. Famous for his original acid-engraving technique, which creates a marbling effect, the artist has concentrated on the area of gravure within the visual arts, and has had 49 solo exhibitions of his work. He currently resides and has his studio in Rome, where he also teaches the art of gravure at Foggia Fine Arts Academy.
