TDP Holds "Key" Training Sessions for Volunteers
Social Awareness Projects (Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projeleri -- TDP) has started the new academic year by organizing a training program for project participants. The "Key Training" program was conducted in cooperation with Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı (TOG) and was composed of four sessions designated by color: the "Yellow," "Blue," "Green," and "Red" keys.
Each session had a different theme. The Yellow Key included an introduction to both TDP and TOG. Consideration of what it means to be a volunteer and an overview of nongovernmental organizations were the topics covered in the Blue Key. The Green and Red Keys dealt with project management and finding resources, and awareness of being a team. The training sessions, which lasted for two days, used a coequal education model, and were supported by interactive games. Through the program, TDP volunteers learned how they can develop new projects that will be a positive contribution to the community.
