Bilkent University had the pleasure of hosting distinguished guests from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore, and the Nanyang Technological University, all three institutions based in Singapore.

Dr. Khiang Wee Lim, executive director of A*STAR, briefed Bilkent students on the Singapre International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) program which supports short term research attachments for international students at A*STAR and Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) which is a joint collaboration between A*STAR, the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and gives opportunity to students to make Ph.D. research training at either A*STAR Research Institutes, NUS or NTU.
Prof. Freddy Boey, provost of Nanyang Technological University and Prof. Atalar signed a student exchange agreement which will gives Bilkent students a chance to study abroad at NTU for one semester. Student exchanges with NTU will be possible starting from next fall semester.
