Social Project Teams with Health Center in Bilecik's Demirköy
Members of Demiryolu Destek Hattı Projesi (Railway Line Support Project), one of Bilkent's Social Awareness Projects, traveled to the Demirköy in Bilecik's Pazaryeri district on April 25 to organize various activities and to conduct health inspection/check-ups for the students of the village elementary school.
Accompanied by a team from the Bilkent Health Center, the organizers of the trip and project held mini-seminars on topics such like nutrition and diet and their impact on child development. Due to the fact that health inspections on students showed many to suffer from dental and ear problems, special attention was given to these topics during the instructive seminars.
