Enrepreneurship Panel
On March 25, the University Industry Collaboration Center (USİM) held a panel discussion on entrepreneurship. Panelists were Ali Yılmaz and Yiğit Gürocak, founders of the online bus ticket sales service Obilet; Faruk İnaltekin, manager of Bilkent Cyberpark's Technology Transfer Office; and Boğaç Üner, CEO of the Üner Group.
First, the Otobilet founders talked about the process of setting up their business and shared some of the issues they encountered during that process. They were followed by Mr. İnaltekin, who explained the role of technoparks and, specifically, Bilkent Cyberpark in supporting entrepreneurs and also provided information about incentives given to entrepreneurs. Mr. Üner, the last panelist to speak, offered advice to young entrepreneurs based on his own experiences. The panel concluded with a question and answer session.
