A Successful Tournament for Bilkent Tennis Teams
The Bilkent men's and women's tennis teams competed in this year's interuniversity tennis tournament, held in Belek, Antalya, March 18-24.
The women's team played four tough matches against Ankara, METU, İzmir Economy and İTÜ. With a squad that included new, less experienced players, the women won two matches and lost two. This result was good enough for the team to remain in the super division (the highest division) for next year.
In the men's category, Bilkent played five other university teams, winning all matches by significant score differences. As a result, the team finished its group in first place and moved up from the second division to the first division.
