ÖBİ Spring Symposium Attracts Over 350 Educators
The İhsan Doğramacı Foundation Özel Bilkent Primary and Middle School held its seventh annual Spring Symposium on Effective Teaching Practices on March 23, hosting more than 350 educators from Ankara and 12 other cities in Turkey.
The former president of the Board of Education, Prof. Ziya Selçuk, and psychologist Prof. Ferhunde Öktem were the symposium's keynote speakers. Their remarks focused on the topics of effective teaching practices and the importance of school.
Participants attended workshops, poster presentations and roundtable discussions offered by Bilkent Primary and Middle School teachers. They also had the opportunity to enjoy piano and folk dance performances by Bilkent Primary and Middle School students.
